Yesterday's Rockeoke, I mean, POPeoke Night at Mag:Net Cafe Bonifacio High Street wasn't as full as the other nights, mainly because yesterday was the first gig of their new group, Oven Toaster. It wasn't announced or anything, since the band only auditioned last week.

Still, lots of the regulars were there--including me of course! Lol.

But there was a surprise guest that night, and boy were we really surprised to see him there! It was Dante Basco, same dude who played Rufio in Hook and that bad ass Ramos in Take the Lead. And oh yeah, Pam says he's also the voice of Jake Long in that animated coolness American Dragon! ^_^

When we cornered him for a few photos, he said he was in town for a movie shoot with Echo Rosales. And now that I'm trying to remember, I think I said to him: "Hey I loved you in Save the Last Dance..." Whoops.

He knew what I was talking about anyway. Dammit.
