Business Development Officer for Yehey.com,
part time blogger for Cnet Asia, avid gamer and wannabe social rockstar. Hehe. I'm here today, though, not as part of any organization but as a member of the Filipino online community, and the research I'm conducting now will hopefully help us users (and maybe even future advertisers and clients) by making a more informed choice, or simply, to avoid talking about something we know nothing about.
Again, I'm conducting this little survey out of my own free will just to settle a long nagging debate that's been floating in and around of cyberspace, so I hope you don't mind. This hopefully won't take too much of your time as the questions are quite simple; therefore, the length of time you take will actually depend on the creativity of your answers or how pilosopo you want to be. Don't get me wrong though, it would really help if you are as honest and truthful with your answers as possible, because if things go as planned, well, we can finally learn the truth, or at least some semblance of it.
And rest assured, all information disclosed here will be held in the strictest of confidence, i.e. I won't go around spreading your cellphone number on the web. Although you have to admit, this is one awesome way to get your crush's online vital stats… but I'm not like that. I swear. ;-)
Okay, so what's the argument or debate in question you ask? Quite simple really:
Why or why not use Friendster, Myspace, Multiply or Facebook or whatever? Instructions are simple:
1) Copy the questions and answer as truthfully as possible. Or not. It's up to you.
2) Forward to as many Pinoys online as you can. The more the many-er. Send to egroups, mailing lists. Post it on your blogs and bulletin boards. Basta, kahit any which way… the larger number of people that respond to this the better! If you have a friend, relative, neighbor or colleague who is not Pinoy but is Pinoy-at-heart, then they qualify to answer as well.
3) Send your copied questions and original answers to
tarugoman@gmail.com. Please don't send spam. I will also not entertain solicitations of any kind. Unless it's an invite for a little harmless online flirtation, then no thank you. =P
4) Last but not least, have fun! That's what makes the net so darn appealing! You never run out of things to do… I just hope you do make the time to answer this little personal project of mine. ^_^
